Agree entirely, Bill! The possibility that working remotely might become a long term trend added to the other attractive aspects of our “Atlantic Canada lifestyle” (reasonable real estate prices, low crime rate, generally friendly and socially tolerant culture, success managing COVID, access to a beautiful and uncrowded countryside) could be part of a marketing strategy aimed at attracting and/or keeping budding entrepreneurs, young professionals and their families, and retirees among others. As one small example, I have former cycling buddies now retired in Ontario and Northern Ireland who are truly envious of the fact that we can have outdoor groups of 20 or more while they are restricted to riding solo or in groups of 4-5. It’s time we broadcast to the world just how good we have it here!
