  • Risk/Reward: What have we trained ourselves to go for? Regulation! When will we actually ‘do’ anything other than ‘pay’ people from the tax trough?

  • Have read this Preview and agree that it is a good factual description of fracking and the processes employed. And it doesn’t overly burden the reader with technical detail and jargon.

Hopefully, this style of presentation will encourage the general public to follow the next phases of the Review as well. Eventually, while recognizing that some issues must still be closely monitored, Nova Scotians will come to appreciate how much this advancement in drilling technique can mean for resource development, provincial revenues and good jobs.

The professional protestors, while seemingly having steady incomes to support the spread of their alarmist mis-information, don’t give a hoot whether Nova Scotians have incomes or not.

  • This is a pretty fair picture of the situation as it stands at the moment viz: 2 very different positions each trying to place their case in the best possible light; very understandable but does not necessarily lend itself to the best overall outcome.INDEPENDENTLY reached conclusions are what is required in this instance and at this juncture as there is much too much at stake for the WRONG conclusion to be arrived at and proceeded upon.
