The Schools Recommendations Are Only As Good As The Implementation

  • Very good article Mr. Black. I can only hope that the provincial government’s implementation is along the lines you suggest. Sadly, I have no reason to expect that based on their dismal record on running the health system where they are tone deaf to every concern raised.

  • While elimination of school boards may be the right way to go, if they are simply replaced by faceless unaccountable bureaucrats the system will slide from bad to worse.
Authority and autonomy needs to be in the hands of those on the front lines who can then be held directly responsible and accountable. (The same should apply to our health care system)
