CUPE’s strike for “living wages”
Unionized long-term care and senior home workers in Nova Scotia began their strike on Friday, April 13. They are represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).

A recent trip on the ferry from Saint John, New Brunswick to Digby, Nova Scotia prompted a thought. The ferry was well appointed and completed its journey in 2 hours and 20 minutes.
